Join this Mixed Media course with our passionate instructor and artist, Sherry Woodward! Sherry is a local artist who loves sharing her skills with others. This art course is designed for beginners to intermediate-level artists who are looking to try out acrylics, soft pastel and so much more! For teen, it requried to be 16 and up. And please email to us before you sign up for teen All materials are included! About the Course: In this class, students will learn to work their way through skills like brushwork mechanics, composition, creating a sense of realism in your landscape and still life paintings and creating light. Class Highlights: - Developing layers of depth - Learning the characteristics of Acrylic Paint, Soft Pastel and more! - Color Mixing and Blending - Brush Movement Techniques - How to use Acrylic Paints to best effect This class will set you up to become a passionate painter! Drop in for a single class or stick around for the full series and build upon your skills. Our small class size allows us to customize each student's curriculum based on their experience. How to register: Classes are held weekly on Thursday. You may register for one class or a series of four (or more). Pick your start date, then we will send a confirmation email your with your subsequent dates. Please review our cancellation policy. About the instructor: Sherry Woodward Sherry is a self-taught artist, and art teacher living in San Mateo. She enjoys painting daily and never runs out of inspiration. Although she works full time as a commercial insurance broker, she is a prolific painter devoted to her craft. Her work can be described as impressionistic, expressive, and impactful. Sherry loves to share her process with her students, and encourages them to loosen up by tapping into their “inner child”. Sherry is currently exhibiting over 20 pieces of her work at Golden Moon Gallery.

Cancellation Policy
Cancellation requests must be made in writing via email to the studio at least 30 days prior to the class start date. “No shows” or "Missing class" are not eligible for refunds. -Full refund if a cancellation notice is given 30 before the class start date. -Half refund if a cancellation notice is given less than 30 days before the class start date. -No Refund if a cancellation notice is given by lesson than 14 days before the class or now show / missing class -The studio reserves the right to cancel the camp. In the event of a studio-canceled camp, a full refund will be issued.
